| DESIGN NAME: RING PRIMARY FUNCTION: Gazebo for STILIAC INSPIRATION: The Ring project is inspired by the huts of some African tribes. Two curved elements connected to other elements Horizontal End-Suction. It is obtained a reliable structure and durable, able of sustain a coverage tense. The idea was to create a protective environment, polyvalent, easy to fit into any environment whether it be classical or modern. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Modular structure in bent tube and joints reinforced nylon. It can be equipped with a floor or installed with plates and pickets directly onto the lawn. Complemented by a removable covering cloth, it can be complemented by a series of specially designed furniture: round bed with or without head, a series of seats and tables, a hot tub with accessories and sun loungers. Designed for public and private spaces, the project involves the modularity in one direction, so you get customizable solutions. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The arches, made in tube of 50 mm., Were sized to obtain a productive optimization and consist of three sectors perfectly equal joined by joints that also have the task of supporting the longitudinal bars 30 mm .. The coverage is provided with different materials from textilene to nylon, to cotton. It is held in tension with three nylon hooks for each side. The structure allows an optimal ventilation and liveability. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in March 2015, the prototypes were completed in July 2015, and presented to the SPOGA Cologne at the end of August 2015 |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The frame is constructed with iron pipes treated for outdoor use so as to ensure durability in any climatic condition. The joints are injection molded nylon fiberglass reinforced . The floor is supported by a frame in square tube and is constituted by boards in WPC. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The size of the base module are: Width 2500 mm x 2500 mm x Height 2200 mm Depth The pakaging is in cardboard boxes with elements in expanded polystyrene. TAGS: garden, beach, versatile space, container of moments, relax RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We wanted to create an innovative construction and immediate perception. Versatile, that could be inserted in different contexts and used in both public and private spaces. Particular attention was given to the ease of assembly and production optimization. A furnishing element protective and enjoyable in which to spend pleasant moments in the respect for the individual. He tried to create a "container of moments", a place where dispose of their own time alone or with friends. CHALLENGE: We did not have any particular problems of design. In perfect synergy with the customer, we have developed the initial idea unhindered. We had clearly identified the technologies available within the company and the project was immediately understood and shared. We wanted to offer an innovative product, which is outwith the traditional schemes and that could represent a turning point for the company's future.
