Svetlogorie Residential House
Our goal was to create a space that would be interesting, memorable and coherent even in the absence of decoration items. The volumes that flow smoothly into one another and provide a unified ensemble inspired us. Which is filled with structural and functional objects of geometrical forms, and soften with natural materials.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project focuses on the integrity of the free planning and texture finishing materials. Thus, the 1 floor has a common kitchen and living space. The integrity of the interior is emphasized by the units and ceiling made in walnut veneer. The private space on the 2 floor is designed in the same style. Bedroom and bathroom combined into a single room. As a result, the glass only isolates the shower and toilet, and the bath itself is an integral part of the bedroom.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The work began with the adjustments of the original building layout. The garage on the ground floor was replaced by a guest room, and the public area was designed as a single space. The living room, kitchen and dining room composed an area of a regular square shape, which adjoins a glazed-in veranda.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in 2013 and finished in 2014 (Moscow).

In this project, we reflected on how to create the most open space. Our task was to unite all the functional areas, but at the same time hide the technical premises. Thus, it has turned the combined space of the kitchen, dining and living room and bedroom combined with a bathroom.
In the interior of this country house neat forms are in harmony with softness and comfort. This effect was achieved by the architects of Alexandra Fedorova's bureau due to the use of natural materials and the architectural study of the space.
