| DESIGN NAME: Qujian Ding Man Xiang Restaurant PRIMARY FUNCTION: Restaurant INSPIRATION: The object of this project is located on the third floor of a new mall constructed nearby the ancient Xi'an city. The space accounts for 1,300 square meters. The owner wants to get rid of the heaviness brought by surrounded ancient china atmosphere. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The owner is seeking the elegant and simplified European style, without falling into duplicated standard. Therefore, the designer chooses the combination of European style and ART DECO, a style which presents a breakthrough. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: After tearing down the rear sector and hallway on the first floor, there are three parts made into the whole restaurant, the areas including transparent hallway, wide lobby, and warm boxes. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Snow White, Black Marbles, Glass Fiber Sculpture, Latex Paint, Mirror Glass, Hand-Painted Wallpaper, Stained Art Glass SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 1,300 square meters TAGS: - RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The object of this project is located on the third floor of a new mall constructed nearby the ancient Xi'an city. The space accounts for 1,300 square meters. CHALLENGE: Despite a 1- square meters structural column and 3.5-meters height ceiling make the restrictions, the elevated space and the depth of the field make customers feel brighter after the massive electricity reconstruction.
