| DESIGN NAME: Floral Dress by Gabriel Cetrez PRIMARY FUNCTION: Fashion INSPIRATION: The idea behind this design was to create a collection inspired by nature, multicolor flowers such as orchids and tulps which later turned into floral patterns for the dresses silhouette. Something that is timeless and ageless, with full of contrast, representing the purist and the feminine fashion. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: - OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: First the operation analysis is done by sketches and illustrated into CAD which later is produced by our atelier tailleur. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The Design and collection was made within 3 month. Entire collection is designed in Germany. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Hand sewn, hand weaving, machine sewing. Used materials: jersey, chiffon, polyester, cotton-blend, elasthane SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Womens apparel from US-Size : 8-16 Mens apparel from US-Size : 46-50 TAGS: Fashion Design, Resort-Clothes, Ready-to-Wear, Luxury, Casual Style, comfortable to wear RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Researched the architecture of nature shapes, lines and floral color palettes which have been later implemented into the dresses silhouettes, devoted to the present style of high fashion. CHALLENGE: To find the appropriate and suitable fabrics of each different outfit and to achieve affordable quality devoted by good fitting.
