DESIGN NAME: The Roomkitchen
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Kitchen, cooking, living
INSPIRATION: Problems in any kitchen, the space, the dirt and the simplicity.
The roomkitchen is the object in the space. Meeting point for the people.And by the pressed form, easy to clean, It has no rough edges!
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The kitchen as a standardised product!
The idea was to develop a Kitchen that works as a room divider. With access on two sides It’s a so called room Kitchen.
What does the customer wants. The answer is: a simple, honest and straight kitchen.
First there’s a base frame of compressed wood. The frame can be produced in any desired size. So the customer can assemble the kitchen the way he wants.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A kitchen without dirt edges and corners , and now they can mutually cook together , have space for everything you need an innovation in the kitchen industry.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: 4 months in bern switzerland, the kitchen is produced in a carpentry.
The kitchen receives the best components from switzerland. The kitchen would be presented at the congress kitchen as new innovation.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The room kitchen is produced in bern switzerland. The base frame is made of Staron, a material that is easy to clean , acid-resistant, scratch-resistant, easy to work. The rest is MDF, the color is selected.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 3318, high 2368, deep 1200, The kitchen can also be extended in 600 steps.
