RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research for this project was varied, from books to magazines and internet but it was mainly a form follow function case, due to the hot and humid weather in Acapulco (MX), the permeability of elements including human sight, and the need of a strong structure due to strong winds in the area. the whole structure was divided in minor panels whose assemblage could be possible in 1 day, giving time to complete all the other services. The design passed all test by in house and external colleagues and clients alike, before going in production.
CHALLENGE: The hardest part was the design itself having to fulfill al the requirements in the brief. the place need to be open but private at the same time, and being a close structure letting see through, and being in a 30 degrees celsius average temperature be cool. in the other hand need to beat down al the previous designs of the same hospitality, and be the most appealing stand in the event.
