| DESIGN NAME: Floating of Fantasy Oasis PRIMARY FUNCTION: Private Apartment INSPIRATION: Combined a luxury fashion with top quality natural environment. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: "Oasis" is often regarded as spring stream flow with fertile soil in wasteland; it is described as the best living environment of mankind by the people in the desert areas. It is in a small scale, but capable and self-sufficient with a considerable size of the food chain, and constituted to a vibrant landscape. Designers described the residence unit is "Oasis" in high-density concrete jungle. The design emphasizes on the luxurious elements to bring out the natural landscape, changing the landscape to its core, expect people to inject natural greenery from the luxurious elements in order to maintain freshness; it is more beautiful and refined compared to most luxury residential that only pursuit of a rich picture. Designers then fantasize "Oasis" with "floating" feeling, the unit immediately becomes a luxury cruise suite and filled the requirements of the soul, and also changes the visual scenery. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Entering another themed suite “Dreamy “(Bedroom 1), you may also find the common elements of cruise. There is a raised platform covered in a carpet mixed with 5 kinds of lake blue colors, an embossed pattern wooden bed act as a metaphor to a boat on the river, and be carried away by the scenery outside the window. The lake echoes inside and outside, making a room full of imagination. The ceiling of the bathroom inside the suite was in a “free-form” as the feature of recessed lights, for the purpose to relax in the clouds of imagination. Finally we are at the room themed “Energetic” (Bedroom 2), the ceilings are filled with small and light “air” (when all the lights are ON), create a dynamic and growing environment full of positive energy for the children to grow. At night time the two beds turn into two rafts staying still at the lake, children can lay on the rafts to watch the stars in the sky (adjust the lights to the weakest), inspire the children's imagination and creativity, and to promote the future development through the functions of decoration elements in addition to the appearance. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The ceiling and the carpet of the living room and dining room echoes with each other, successfully separate the regions with natural contours, the streaks of ceiling turns the stiffness into vibrant clouds and plants, along with the special "Island/mountai SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: Providence Bay, Private Apartment, Floating of the Fantasy Oasis, AS Design Service Limited, AS, Four Lau, Sam Sum RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The whole design was inspired by the ideal life of homeowners, where they are yearning to travel; designers then fantasize "Oasis" with "floating" feeling, the unit immediately becomes a luxury cruise suite and filled the requirements of the soul, and also changes the visual scenery. The interior is deliberately decorated as modern streamlined cruise, the purpose is to distract you from the crossbeam, and your eyes will flow to the sea view windows. The selected imported wood dining table, wooden floors and Japanese bonsai, serve the purpose of linking the indoor and outdoor ecological landscape together. Using a mirror with vertical plants easily distracts you from the large shoe cabinet at the entrance, and it also provides some green freshness with the visual effect. Imported chandelier above the dining table looks like bubbles, the reflection of the spotlight and shadow becomes a part of the ceiling light and visual decoration. CHALLENGE: Facing a pleasant sea view, Providence Bay combined a luxury fashion with top quality natural environment. Designers think the natural landscape visibility in Hong Kong's living environment is disappearing; they described the residence unit is "Oasis" in high-density concrete jungle.
