| DESIGN NAME: Yes PRIMARY FUNCTION: Furniture office system INSPIRATION: The project was born from the intention to convey both high-class and versatility concepts into the office ambience. The office is seen as an “aspirational space”. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Refined, essential, functional. Yes is the answer to the workspace needs. Its desks, meeting tables and storages allow the organization of the space according to necessities and tastes. The multi-materials desks have a “Y” shaped chrome metal structure that communicates elegance and a high-class positioning. Straight lines, slim table tops, variety of elements, smart finishes guarantee several setups. The “dark and light worlds” can be blended in perfect accordance with the chromatic pallet. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Yes system interacts with the user through the identification of a design language that is coherent with the style of each person. This becomes possible thanks to the innumerable possible configurations. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: From March to December 2014. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Furniture Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: There were used assorted materials - chromed metal, wood essences, etc. – and all of them were characterized by an excellent perceived quality. At the same time, the project was developed maintaining the control on the final cost. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Several dimensions and compositions. TAGS: Furniture, office, versatile, functional, elegant, high-class, aspirational, dark and light RESEARCH ABSTRACT: After conducting an extensive research on the stylistic areas and the characteristics that distinguish them, we have identified two “worlds”: light and dark - They coexist elegantly together with their two strong and distinctive personalities. CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge was to develop advanced technical solutions that the manufacturer has never adopted until that moment.
