RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We started our research on current Indian commuter market included ethnography study with drivers and commuters. There were analysis done on current taxi system in India and types of taxis. Based on which we narrowed down to 3 users and regions. We then designed 3 pre concepts before selecting the final direction. Research objective: To absorb as much insight from observation, experience and interview to give honest design solution. Few role plays on the package derived to understand the effect of user scenario.
CHALLENGE: The most difficult bit of the project was interviewing Taxi driver, commuters and people involved in the system. Gathering these insights and creating the honest and justifiable solutions were a great chanllege but the most interesting part of design.
