| DESIGN NAME: Genel Energy PRIMARY FUNCTION: Head Office INSPIRATION: Opting to reflect the architectural identity of buildings on the indoor space with fine touches, the designers stressed the angular lines, which create the motion that is observed on the existing facade design at Genel Energy Head Office, with the lighting design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: During the design phase of the project, where the value attached on human resources is prioritized, the details that aim at fostering the employee satisfaction and productivity are specifically addressed. As an indispensable aspect of the modern management spaces, the office atmosphere has been built with a superior understanding. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: As an indispensable requirement for the offices that are located inside the high-rise buildings, all of the mid season colors and natural materials such as wood and marble have been predominantly used in the design in order to make up the distance between the employees and the nature. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in January 2013 and finished in May 2014 in Ankara, Turkey. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The information desk is made up of an artificial material that resembles onyx stone. Bonsai trees are selected considering their longevity in accordance with the atmosphere of this space. In the meeting rooms the use of natural oak on floors, walls, and ceilings draws attention. On the other hand, the warmth of wood is stressed with lighting fixtures.The metal suspended ceilings used in the private office sections are lighted with the linear led lighting fixtures. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Total built up area: 3350sqm TAGS: Head Office, Office Area, Office Interior, Contemporary Design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Nature and motion are the main keywords of the main concept. CHALLENGE: Minimize the distance between employees and the nature in the the high-rise office buildings. Provide Energy efficency with the automated motion / daylight lighting and havac system.
