| DESIGN NAME: NOVA BOSSA PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design Show INSPIRATION: The loose words don't have to do with the reach of novelty, but to the posture of whom carries it. The way of living ,the gestures who unfold memories, the sounds that rock remembrances, the clicks of glasses cheering and the loose dialogues in the air The will to be is reception of the body, sensitized by textures of delicate touch, smooth colors that coat furniture and mold to the forms, our own. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The space was a white sheet, open for the words written as vectors to create. Intimate wish of availability the architect soon resumes as will to stay. Suddenly by feeling the need to balance the axis, the time, and realize that space is the territory we have now. Natural material composes this body generous a esthetic creation. Audiolab sound designer occupied all spatiality with different elements and sound textures so that the visitor could think the ambient without pre-determined script. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The space was divided in a way to neutralize attention. Forming a transition area, Juliana chooses a breath, a pause, for the visitor to establish communication. I want to offer an experience, she says. The living room and bar the talking circles the toasting. Cannot miss the cosiness. Smooth colors, cupper, leather and Brazilian exquisite wood are all around. Juliana detaches the ultra fine floor of 1x3 meters the wooden ramp and the Neobambu revestiment that is covering a big frame and the ceiling. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This 130 square meters living room was projected for the Casa Cor Santa Catarina. Casa Cor took place in May 2014 and it was visited by 20 thousand people all over Brasil . The Nova Bossa is inspired on the famous Brazilian musical style Bossa Nova. Nova Bossa has the best in Brazilian furniture design along with sharp edge technologies, artwork, architecture and Brazilian music. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Gray is main color in the ambient walls, brushed with cupper, steel coating of Portobello and a wooden panel contrasting with rusticity of the natural stone Hijal from Pedecril. The ultra fine floor , the wooden ramp an the Neobambu that covers parts of the ceiling, sustainable. The detaches are color mixing, lighting and design furniture. Three pivoting doors have lightly round design with a laminated profile that imitate walnut wood for cosiness. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Before remodelation this 130 m2 with high 2,70 meters. CHALLENGE: Nova Bossa was projected for the interior design show, Juliana Pippi took inpiration from the 70's in Rio de Janeiro and the bossa nova movement.
