DESIGN NAME: Coco Fruit
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Beverage Package
INSPIRATION: The work was based on visual illustrations that depict traditional agricultural activities in northeastern Brazil and in traditional folk art, using repetitive elements to form a pattern, adding a retro feel. Each illustration has been developed with a maximum of three colors by overlapping colors.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Design agency, Inketa was charged with building a new identity for Coco Fruit, an independent Brazilian brand specializing in coconut water, to restate their products and value. With full customer collaboration throughout the process, Inketa produced a redesign of CocoFruit's logo, packaging and promotional items.
The brand's new logo is modern and attractive, while conveying the purity and authenticity of the product's prime ingredient.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This coconut water has a different approach, you can track the where, when and by who the water was produced by checking the code that comes in the package.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2013 in São Paulo and finished in December 2013.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The package was printed at Tetra Pak. Knowing that, we explore the fact that it will have some registration problem. That problem was used on purpose to look like that was hand made.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This project was inspired by the folk Brazilian culture and arts. A big illustrative research was made to understand the development and print process used by those people in the northeast of Brazil.
CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge was to make the industrial scale Tetra Pak package looks like a hand crafted juice box.
