| DESIGN NAME: Vasa PRIMARY FUNCTION: Floor Lamp INSPIRATION: The term bell was founded in the early Middle Ages when, according to a version not supported by sufficient evidences, the bishop of Nola, Paulinus (409-431), supported the liturgical use and then the production of vasa Campana (literally vessels of Campania ). Based on this, I chose to call my lamp Vasa , due to its design that evoke a bell tower that draws people to the assembly UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Objects have souls. The soul of those who designed. Vasa is a ligth, a reminder of a bell tower that calls people with its sounds, its forms and its colors. Music is all in the composition, in the arrangement of different tones to create a harmonious, enganging whole. Vasa is a light, a dynamic composition of elements, a perfect complement to any space. It is a mark, a gesture, a simple line. Vasa is an expression of simplicity. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Vasa lamp is a common object. Designed for residential use, can be used at any time of the day as furniture and as a lamp. Black Round steel and solid ash wood Base.wood basin or corian Hardware.screws , wood fasteners SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Overall dimension: 600 mm (W), 600 mm (P), 1500 mm (H) TAGS: lamp, semplicity, floor lamp, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: I have always been fascinated by the tower bell and their ability to bring people together, as well as the light has always been a source of centralization. so my research has been to create an object for everyday use that performs its function, but with the conviction that it can 'with its shape and its light bring people together. CHALLENGE: The challenge of research was to find a way to design an economic product with much of prestigious statement along its form.
