| DESIGN NAME: MEMOries (usbstick) PRIMARY FUNCTION: Usb Stick INSPIRATION: The usb has been designed caused to our need we kept loosing it and finaly we weren't the only ones UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The usb stick, it’s the most well-known data storage medium. It knows all users, regardless of age and their knowledge about pc’s. All of us exploit the size and portability, usually changing hands several times in a day. What exactly is the biggest trap. We can easily trot from our minds, the moment we are looking for in a particular job. Who is this now????????? An object so small it fits in your pocket, so great that can determine our mood. In bag’s chaos???? Or in the office, which may seem like a whole planet????? Now, imagine an object in flexible black rubber, with a linear metal surface, worn as a bracelet!!!! There lies the storage space. Gorgeous as a jewel that you wear, and carry with you all your memories. This is memories. Beautiful and glamorous. And always here!!!!!!!!! PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Material: leather, rubber, inox. Produced from cast metal molds. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Dimensions: lenght 0,014cm x depth 0,04cm x height 0,007cm + skin and rubber bound around the wrist TAGS: - RESEARCH ABSTRACT: my career as an industrial designer has taken me all over the world, exposed me to a myriad of materials and manufacturing techniques and provides constant inspiration to expand the realm of current practices to achieve new and interesting outcomes. CHALLENGE: The greatest challenge was to prototype a piece that requires this level of precision, all the while knowing that the technology exists to do so with ease. but, recognizing the simplicity of manufacturing such a piece, served as the greatest motivation to do so, by hand. NAME: Tsigaras christos. Studio of architectural and industrial design PROFILE: Christos Tsigaras created his own studio in 2012 having as an object the architectural design study, Supervision, as well as the project management in private homes and Business Premises. He owns Bachelor of Arts in Industrial design he is actively involved in the study and the construction of objects and he has been general in the field of Industrial design in Greece since 1990. He has taken parts in international competitions, exhibiting household objects in which he had the study and production as a whole. THIS OBJECT WAS DESIGNING BY US, IN ORDER TO PRODUCE BY US. |
