| DESIGN NAME: CASA Silk PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Interior Design INSPIRATION: CASA Silk is inspired from the material silk. This interior design provides an atmosphere that gives soft yet eye-catching appearance influenced by silk. With the light reflections, silk offers the appealing visuals of weave textile, which causes a sense of luxury. CASA Silk translates the material languages of silk into interior design; the space shows a smooth yet elegant essence of silk in depth in design, which brings out the charms of silk into the space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project blends together both luxury and minimalism. It 'interweaves� OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: CASA Silk is designed for a professional business lady, aim to have relaxing lifestyle and the moment of clam in busy central city. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Materials used in the space including Travertine, thin stone, wooden, clear glass, gold, silver, titanium bars, leather SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Space total of 161sqm. Entrance 5sqm, Lounge 35sqm, Dining 16.5sqm, Kitchen 9sqm, Reading Room 13sqm, Suite 23sqm, Guest Bedroom 17sqm Changing Room 6sqm, Bathrooms 9sqm, Storage 2.5sqm, Balcony 20sqm. TAGS: Residential Apartment, Casa Valentino, luxury apartment design, Condi Design, Webber (Ping-Chun) Chen, Interior Design, Interior Space, Architecture, Design in Taiwan RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The Casa Silk design philosophy is based on its footage of changes in between age and location; from the centuries aways of classical silk to modernise simple silk design; from eastern style to western royal preference, silk design has been always prestigious. CHALLENGE: The Design challenge for CASA Silk is the transformation of the client's personality into design practice. In Condi Design, when designing residential projects, we always encourage our clients to express their personality through their life stories and experience, and develop design inspiration from there. In this case, we had heard about the story from CASA Silk's client, and decided to express this into a concept. Silk was the ideal material that matches with her personality, and we base our concept on this.
