| DESIGN NAME: Secret Garden PRIMARY FUNCTION: Tea House INSPIRATION: For Chinese people, drinking tea has a history if more than 4000 years. Even today, many people still regard drinking tea as an essential part of their lives. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project is a high-end tea house which offers social elites a place of relaxation, gathering, communication and business negotiation. The tea house adopts a membership system which guarantees the privacy of customers, so it is named Secret Garden.Interior design of the tea house applies oriental garden and use spavilionã€bridge〠OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In order to build an eastern garden in the interior, pavilion, bridge, pool, wood tunnel and trees are used. As water landscape is made inside the building, waterproofness and good water circulation system need to be ensured. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Interior design of the tea house applies oriental garden and uses pavilion,bridge,pool SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: square meter of project：1800 TAGS: Secret Garden, pavilion, bridge, pools, timber tunneland , trees RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Interior design of the tea house applies oriental garden and uses pavilionã€bridge〠CHALLENGE: In one corridor space, flow lines are complex and interlocked without order; it also gathers many entrances and exits. So finally we adopt a concept of timber tunnel which combines all the entrances and exits and forms an integral tunnel space. This changes the original defect into a highlighted part of the space.
