DESIGN NAME: Nallo Color
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hair product
INSPIRATION: Nallo Color is a series of professional hair colouring products of IDA. The main element of the packaging design is the green circle; which symbolize the emission of natural floral scent.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Nallo Color is targeting to those high-end customers who are looking for quality lift. Nallo Color enable a comfortable hair coloring treatments, Without ammonia, while not affecting lifting and deposit function, at the same time, sustain the long-lasting advantage as traditional colorant, as well as, fresh scent disperse throughout the coloring process.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Through careful management of the printing process, both on the boxes and inside tube, designer created packages that have a depth and elegance that match the luxury standards of the product. Sales of Nallo Color have been excellent and have confirmed our unique approach to this unique product.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in May 2011 in Hong Kong and finished in August 2011 in China.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It is a formulation specially customize for oriental hair. Through utilizing accurate and simplify International Color Code (ICC) system to analysis color production, it offers more accurate color formulation.
The newly release MIX-COLOR series offers an array of more attractive and brighter shades that allows you to create various kinds of new shades as you can imagine.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: For the outer box material, a silver matt card is chosen, as it makes the color of the logo more vivid and the packaging more eye-catching.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Focus group is the main research method. After talked with the focus group, we realised that the target audience tend to prefer hair product that is fancy and eye catching.
CHALLENGE: The target audience is hair salons but not retail customers. In this sense, the packaging design needs to show innovative concepts, but at the same time, the cost is also a concern.
