| DESIGN NAME: Aria Duplex PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Show Flat INSPIRATION: Kowloon Peak has been one of Hong Kong's most coveted dwelling places; one of those extraordinary locations commanding impressive views of Victoria Harbour - exclusive havens solely within reach of Hong Kong's affluent elites. With its distinctive location on Kowloon Peak, Aria is a residence of gracious elegance in a location of stature and privilege, and provides an enchanting one-of-a-kind lifestyle experience encompassing the essence of "Peak Living". Peak Living at Aria is prestigious, noble and exclusive. It is characterized by tranquil greenery and expansive Victoria Harbour views, which illustrates a timeless beauty. Aria’s Peak Living concept and its Kowloon Peak location have provided inspiration for our show flat and the result is a well-appointed residential duplex that is sophisticated in its proportions, yet meticulous in details. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The interiors of the Aria Duplex combine the elegance and comfort of luxury living with a stylish design. The spacious, modern and light-filled designs make everyday tasks a joy and the privileges of living at such an exceptional level is magnified by the 360-degree panoramic view of the scenic Victoria Harbour. Meticulous attention has been paid to every interior detail, with each fitting and fixture of the finest obtainment. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Every detail of design is intended to accentuate the experience of luxury in the Aria Duplex. From the moment you walk in, the grand crystal pendent dazzles in the spacious living room and brilliant touches come together to create a sense of grandeur. With the breathtaking views of the Victoria Harbour, the Aria Duplex is a residence that exceeds all expectations. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project completed in 2012 in Hong Kong. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Using the finest furniture and decorative items, the Aria Duplex adopts Armani branded furniture and light fixtures, a 2.7 meters high Preciosa crystal pendent lighting in the living room and rare Italian Sahrai carpets. Precious marbles, mirrors, stainless steel finishing, crystals and special glasses were also used in the construction of this luxury show flat. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 3400 ft2 TAGS: Luxury, Design, Interior Design, Fusion, Show Flat, Duplex, Residence, Residential RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Understanding the environment and surrounding that the Aria Duplex is situated in as well as its target market was paramount in the design of this residential show flat. At its lofty elevation, we took advantage of the large windows such that the design highlights the resplendent sunrise that nature paints on the morning sky and the dazzling galaxy of twinkling lights that is Victoria Harbour at night. Designed for the person who savors life's finest things, the Aria Duplex brings together the joy and beauty of nature and the detail designs intended to accentuate the experience of luxury. CHALLENGE: The creative challenge for the design of this residential show flat was in creating the delicate balance between showcasing the luxuriousness and exclusiveness that defines the "Peak Living" lifestyle with the tranquility and humbleness of the surrounding nature. By combining warm neutral color tones that reflects the beauty in nature with rare marbles, delicate fabrics, luxurious finishes along with successful space planning we created an elegant and comfortable home that speaks to the inspirational journey of the homeowner seeking the true appreciation in life.
