| DESIGN NAME: OUTSIGN.Lab Design Studio PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office/ Studio Design INSPIRATION: OUTSIGN.lab is a creative laboratory, designers study how to apply their creativity on different media. Precisely because of this spirit, it generated a lot of "experimental creations", which fit right in every corner of the lab and became part of the décor. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: OUTSIGN.lab is deeply influenced by New York culture. The design studio has also taken on the Loft style, building a perfect chemistry between industrialization and postmodern art nouveau. The design concept is based on a Laboratory and zoning is done based on the functionality: workspace / development area/ brain storming area / chill-out and display area. Last but not least the “experimental creation” plays an important part of décor in OUTSIGN.lab OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in 2009 in Hong Kong FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The overall concept is to create a Loft lab and the choice of materials: glass, stainless steel, wood, tile and metal mesh have completed the design. The "experimental creations" bring people through the designers’ creative journey.
