Brugal Papá Andrés
Structural & Packaging Design
The inspiration for the bottle design came from the royal crowns to communicate luxury and excellence while for the graphics the starting point was the exotic and attractive Caribbean architecture.
The royal imaginary delivers the glamour and exclusivity to this beverage that was previously kept just to be enjoyed by the Brugal family members. This prestigious brand wanted to create a very unique identity for its bottle design as well as a magnificent box.

The research was carried by structural and graphic designers and marketing directors. The geographical origin of the beverage was the key to discover the artistic value of the caribbean architecture and the royal crowns the inspiration for the bottle design. The source were books, personal photos and Google.
This project was about designing the most precious treasure for the Brugal family. It had to be a respectful homage to the company´s founder, to honour his devoted dedication and passion to establish the most important Dominican Rum brand. The bottle design was inspired by the beloved emotional heritage more than a premium spirit.
