Symbol Istanbul Sales Office Design
Sales Office is the first address that a firm meets its clients. It's essential to reflect the main aspects of the project in the most accurate way possible. Symbol Istanbul Project, consisting of recreation areas, office and residential buildings, combines different concepts. Gonye Proje evaluated all the aspects of the architectural design, combined different materials and adopted a contemporary approach to create a unique space that reflects the characteristics of the whole project.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The balance between functionality and style while reflecting the architectural values was the primary aim of the design. The use of color, geometrical shapes and fractions was the main design tool which allowed the designers to play with shapes and levels to emphasize the functions. Having an open space while providing privacy was a great challenge on aesthetical level. The partitions were both separating and connecting the space with the use of a platform.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The clients come to the sales office to buy an apartment and the design has to give them a feeling of trust, warmness and happiness. We try to give these feelings with the right materials and the right colours while trying to keep the space functional and elegant at the same time.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in May 2012 in Istanbul and was realised in December 2012

The time for creating the concept of the project and the production details was very limited. Having an open space while providing privacy was a great challenge on aesthetical level. Over the reception desk, there is a huge marble panel that had to stand perpendicular and it was the most difficult part of the production.
