DESIGN NAME: Raffinee
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Holding box
INSPIRATION: We wanted to create a holder completely different from any other chocolate product, that makes the Raffinée pieces easily accessible for the consumers and urges them to take one after the other.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: We designed the packaging of Raffinée pieces so they can function as a gift box, with the lines of the interior dropping inward and narrowing down to form a serving cup or chalice. We put the parchment paper bag that holds the delicious dragees into this narrowing form so when folded out onto the sides of the box the desert can be easily served in an aesthetic way.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: By removing the cover we find a parchment paper bag holding the Raffinées, which after opening and folding to the sides of the box, shapes a chalice like serving bowl.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The idea to plan an exclusive packaging for the Raffinée product was in January 2013. Three member team was responsible for the execution, the project was finalized in July 2013.

Perfect chocolates demand the finest ingredients: this is why chocoMe uses only premium chocolate bases with 100 % cocoa butter content, provided by Callebaut, the world’s largest chocolate manufacturer company, and procures its diverse topping ingredients through carefully chosen German, Italian and French suppliers.
During their business activity they apply stringent standards and strict requirements to make sure that their food products meet both the official regulations and the customers’ demands.
When chocoMe creates chocolates in the spirit of making no compromises, they uses exclusively premium quality ingredients; furthermore, to avoid the mass-production process, they prepare and package every bar of chocolate with their own hands.
chocoMe pays special attention not only to using the best-quality ingredients, but also to producing a breath-takingly unique, highly impressive appearance during the process of placing the toppings on their chocolate bases – which by now has become the distinctive “trademark” feature of chocoMe.
chocoMe's basic idea of striving for perfection and making no compromises can be detected in all stages of the production: from the point of obtaining the ingredients through all the steps of manufacturing to the delivery of the finished product.
