PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Seating For Stations
INSPIRATION:
The inspiration to create this project came during the waiting on the station. Sits can be other, with the form taken from nature. It gives the possibility to use less materials and more colors.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Comfortability of seating came from two semetrical parts which connects by basement. Back of seat have an oval form. Back connects with the seating part with bolts. Less usage of materials and form of the seating for station are components of eco-design
Very important part of design is ease of assembly and cheapness of transportation.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Seating for stations, which consist only of two identical parts, you should make only two parts. This seats can be used not only at stations but in parks and in township environment.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in Autumn 2013 in Kyiv and finished in February 2014 in Odessa. But in general It took me only five evenings to create this project.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Research consisted of connection of two curved surfaces to one construction. It was nesessary to design connecting knot of back and seating part with the help of bolts.
CHALLENGE:
The main difficulty was to connect the sits and backs with the help of the simplest fixes. And the main challenge was to find the best variant of design and functionality of manufacturing and installation.

The Idea of the Brand "Xo-Xo-L design" was created as a desire to bring more positive emotions to life. The idea, from the bigenning, was not to follow any definite style, but to create good emotions using unexpected ideas and unexpected combinations of materials. The main feature is that our designs shall be functional, unfamiliar and at the same time simple and cheap in production. The idea does not only distributed to the furniture, but to the architecture, light and habitat too.
