This dish is inspired from the Pythagorean Theorem.
The theorem comes up with me to express the mathematics beauty as modern design.
And also the golden ratio include to calculate every part of layouts, thus circles, hexagons, and triangles are well balanced in a product.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This product has unique feature by mathematical design.
Every feature is calculate based on the mathematical logic with the natural rule.
In addition, the dish is made by bone-china to express thin and beauty design with the strong material.
The color layout is also adapt geometry graphics, thus it can create many variation for dish.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Designed on the 3D CAD software with the calculation of the mathematical ratio.
The material use bone china due to keep thin, light and strong feature.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
Project started in October 2012 in Tokyo and finished in Japan in February 2013. This is the first time to exhibit in Salone.
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Made every basic design on 3D CAD software with mathematical calculation by brain.
After that share the data to the selected manufacture.
Since it was difficult to embody this product using old technology, Adopted bone china material with high manufacturing technology.

Inner-circle width 123.61mm x Depth 123.61mm after mathematical calculation. Other polygons are used Pythagorean theorem to express beauty outline.

Every design are based on the Pythagorean Theorem and Golden ratio.
Those method feel beauty to everyone when see this product.
To use on the daily life, it is not only design feature but also it has strong and easy maintain material.
It was easy for me to design this dish due to I planed to use mathematical theory and 3D CAD software.
However, it was hard for me to find the manufacture because the design is unique and unusual as tableware. Finally, I could meet the challenging and high technique company in Japan.
