RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research comes from the desire to create an armchair designed as a single object, conceived in its entirety, capable of fusing the mechanical parts with the bodywork and vice versa in a single resulting symbiotic, which is close to the real shape, so as not to have a summation of autonomous components.
CHALLENGE: The analysis has led to a strenuous battle, the designer of subtractions to obtain a good compromise between full and empty spaces that would bring all the materials to a minimum in order to affect as little as possible on the resources of production, distribution, material and human. Factors affecting the same purposes of the design without compromising the feel-good factor.
