DESIGN NAME: Air-O
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bicycle
INSPIRATION: Air-O is inspired from shapes of arrow. The name Air-O represents the word Air which is lighter and a design of an arrow. My motive is to bring a better and a new look and feel to the bicycle
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Air-o Design is based on regular single drive bicycle. It hold a very unique design combined with aluminum, steel and titanium. In Air-O cycle, the titanium is combined with the main frame and rider frame. So the cycle is stronger and also lighter to give a perfect riding experience to the rider. As the cycle is lighter, the aerodynamic of the body of the cycle is based on the design of an arrow which will deliver a proper safer and a modern ride to the cycle. Now in the functionality of this design, it is not much different from other cycles. The reason is, Air-o has to be a simple and remain with its original functionality of a bicycle, so that everyone can drive with a good and uncomplicated ride with pleasure.I actually had certain thoughts, as far as today we have seen many innovation in many products, but cycle still didn't get its perfect design innovation. Air-O is mainly focused on innovation to design rather than changing what a cycling is about. According to me, the functionality of the cycle must be as its original built, which could give a rider feel the same driving pleasure of a perfect cycle with a different look.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Air-O is generally a basic cycle which can be handled by all adults including older people who feels better with cycling.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Started on early OCTOBER 2012 and Ended on late JANUARY 2013
FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design
