| DESIGN NAME: Rain Maker PRIMARY FUNCTION: Water Purifier INSPIRATION: Inspiratirated when I've seen a sandglass in sauna UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Human power can make purified water through membrane filter. This membrane filter can use back flushing which lasts longer than other purifiers. This product can be used without electricity. This product can store extra filters. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: usage 1.Let the undrinkable water settle in another container before filtering. 2.After it has settled, use only the water from the upper part of the container and pour the water in the nonpotable collapsible plastic bottle 3.Turn Body upside down to connect the container, and then turn the whole unit upside down again. 4.push the bottle by human weight at right angle 5.repeat pour the water in the bottle and repeat 4. 6.when you feel filter is stopped up than before use, disassemble the bottle and start back-fiushing process back -flushing 1. disassemble the bottle and terminal tube from body 2. pour filtered water to back-flushing bottle(0.5liter) 3. upside down body and assemble back-flushing bottle to body(L) 4. push the bottle by human weight PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: For areas where water supply is in need For any kinds of disaster areas to use rain waters without electicty FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Idea and Conceptual Design |
