UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Vibrolith RBST is an electro-pneumatic lithotripter. It works according to the principle of collision of a bullet, accelerated by compressed air with a steel probe. VibrolithRBST has a “simple to use” nature.
VibrolithRBST is both robust and simple thanks to its stainless steel construction and has an appealing look with its plastic body. The tray is compatible with the main unit with aesthetic and ergonomic features and contains hangers on which probes can be hung. In addition, the tray can be moved easily via the wheels.
It has an easy to clean, sterile physical structure thanks to its soft forms.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The operator can easily select the pulse mode as single or continuous, by simply pressing the touch-key panel. The total number of pulses applied can be monitored on a digital counter. Operation pressure can be adjusted easily and regardless of the pressure supply, by turning the knob of the regulator on the control box.
Values like pressure are set on the device and operation is performed on patients with a hand gun and a foot pedal.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project was started in November2011 and completed in February2012 in "Ankara, TURKEY". Currently, it produced by ELMED Inc. in the own factory. It will be exhibited in MEDICA2012.

Device is required to be sterile, so the priority was to have an easy-to-clean design. It was also aimed to create an easy to use design with understandable functions in order to avoid any user based errors during surgeries that require extensive attention.
The device used in operating rooms has a long lifetime without the need for additional service thanks to its design features and robust construction. The device design has an aesthetic appearance.
