UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Triton is an alternative warning and guidance system used on the sea. The design is self contained and does not need a substructure. It uses sustainable energies. Triton, meaning The Little Sea God,
symbolizes self reliance, durability and the perfect harmony with its
environment. The name of the product is chosen especially since the name
has the potential to emphasize the visual triplets of the form.
Triton is designed to give service by using the Sun and Wind energies together or alternatively by converting to electrical
energy. It is a floating system unit that can place rapidly into the marina
entries, ports and sea shores according to the permanent or temporary
need and guidance restrictions. It is a functional and eco-friendly design
that is designed in order to relieve the traffic flow and provide safety. It
seems to be this product will become varied visually since it can be used
widespread and it has lots of potential area of usage.
The system works with the triple reflective solar panels that are collecting
sunlight during day and the two parallel systems that are converting the
alternative energy obtained by the triple wind vanes in the middle to the
electrical energy. During the wind blowing, the moving vanes rotate and the
floodlight on the top uses the produced and collected energy and serves as
a warning system. It is aimed to increase perception when there is a
descent in visibility range by creating a higher perceptive effect on the
vanes with the light reflected on leading to enlarge the warning surface.
It is expected the product to be a clean-energy using safety component that
can be used in our country that is surrounded with sea and in international
market. It is a safety and warning product that can be used in any kind of
Marina, port entries, active traffic flow by fulfilling the expectation of
warning and guidance capabilities, carcass inspection and variety of
military usage.
Triton is an aesthetical and conceptually flexible product that can
be used in any pool, lake or sea with simple decorative purposes.
It is suitable to be used in personal or public domains.
Operating and maintenance costs are low, and it can be easily produced
with the existing technologies.
