INSPIRATION: Drawing inspiration from nature, the jacket design aims to harmonize environmental protection with minimalist charm. Rooted in the Back to Basics philosophy, it combines simple yet refined design with sustainable materials, helping the wearer feel closer to nature and embrace the true spirit of adventure. The color palette also echoes this philosophy: vibrant fluorescent green reflects the vitality of the natural world, while soft gray adds a touch of understated elegance and purity.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Wild Shell, designed for outdoor enthusiasts, combines high performance with environmental responsibility. Crafted entirely from biobased materials, this jacket ensures a green lifecycle from raw materials to finished product, seamlessly integrating sustainability and functionality. With its lightweight design and premium materials, it offers unmatched performance in diverse demanding outdoor conditions, all without compromising on comfort.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: By harnessing ergonomic data modeling and 3D seamless splicing technology, the jacket weighs only 248g, lighter than 4 SIS Isotonic Energy Gels. The combination of lightweight fabrics and seamless cutting ensures optimal comfort and unrestricted movement.
With an innovative integrated storage design, the jacket can fold into a sling bag, eliminating the burden of carrying bulky outdoor gear and allowing the wearer to transition seamlessly between the rhythm of city life and the call of the wild.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design and development of this jacket began in Guanghzou, in June 2024.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The jacket embodies environmental responsibility by fully using biobased materials, combined with advanced microporous membrane technology and robust Dyneema fibers to enhance wear resistance, breathability, and comfort. The SoundMax ultrasonic seam taping technology and the precisely controlled adhesive overflow process work in harmony, using vibrations at high frequencies for flawless bonds between tapes and fabrics. This boosts not only water resistance but also visual appeal and quality.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As global environmental awareness rises, the outdoor sports industry is navigating a shift from high performance to sustainability. However, traditional outdoor apparel often use petrochemical based materials, which excel in functionality but come at a heavy environmental cost during production and disposal. Meanwhile, outdoor enthusiasts are increasingly demanding lightweight and multifunctional gear, especially for hiking and trail running, where portability and comfort are essential.
CHALLENGE: Traditional composite fabrics are often made by laminating different materials, requiring complex separation during recycling. This leads to high costs, low efficiency, and significant environmental harm. To solve these problems, the jacket combines three layers of the fabric made from a single material. This simplifies recycling, allowing it to enter the recycling loop directly without separation. The use of fully biobased materials also reflects the commitment of the brand to sustainability.
