| DESIGN NAME: Aurora Pony PRIMARY FUNCTION: Motor Cycle INSPIRATION: Inspired by the sleek lines of the aurora across the night sky, the dirt bike merges dynamism with strength, embodying the unique allure of technology and unbridled wildness. Futuristic silver gray and dark gray as main colors create a calm, elegant atmosphere, while red brake parts as embellishments add a touch of athletic passion. The product, with ergonomic proportions, boasts reasonably sized wheels, and a seat height tailored for children and teenagers, ensuring riding comfort and safety. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This electric dirt bike, specially designed for children and teenagers, aims to satisfy their desire to explore nature and help them foster an adventurous spirit. It cleverly marries functionality with aesthetics to enhance user experience and fun of use. Its superior braking system, professional shock absorption capabilities, and lightweight structure ensure ease of control and riding safety. Moreover, the product presents a futuristic style that combines a sense of technology with wild charm. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The dirt bike adopts a dual shock absorption design, and can adapt to various terrains, ensuring safety on bumpy roads. The application of dual disc brakes and an off road suspension system further enhances riding safety and user experience. The product supports flexible switches between single battery and double batteries to enhance endurance. The built in battery compartment, waterproof and impact resistant, minimizes damage from emergencies and extends the service life of the bike. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 28th, 2023 and finished in December, 2024. The product is planned to be exhibited at TAIPEICYCLE in March, 2025, followed by appearances at EUROBIKE in Frankfurt in June, and at the two wheeler exhibition in Milan, Italy in November. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main frame and front suspension made of robust aluminum alloy employ the liquid forging process for both light weight and high strength, durable and safe. The surface, undergoing the green automobile grade painting process involving four rounds of coating and four rounds of baking, features a glossy finish and excellent scratch resistance to enhance aesthetic appeal and durability. The soft, textured seat and metal components result in a sharp contrast, thus improving visual layering. CHALLENGE: The challenge was to strike a balance between ease of use and safety. To address that, this product optimizes the layout of its control area based on the habits of children and teenagers. It supports one button start, significantly simplifying operation to achieve ease of use. The cool light strips enhance nighttime visibility, whose combination with a GPS positioning system, an auto power off feature for dragging and fall protection, and an anti theft functionality improves safety of use.
