| DESIGN NAME: Top View PRIMARY FUNCTION: Model House INSPIRATION: The inspiration for this project comes from the fusion of nature and leisurely living, aiming to create a unique family space that offers both a 270 degrees river view and a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. By incorporating elements of a café into the home design, it provides a space ideal for gatherings, socializing, and relaxation—such as enjoying afternoon tea or swinging at home—infusing daily life with creativity and vitality. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Advantages: The project, located on the southern bank of the lower Ou River, offers a 270 degrees river view. The residential area is designed to blend seamlessly with nature, allowing residents to enjoy the river breeze, sunlight, and scenic beauty. This unique location creates an ideal home where nature and culture coexist in harmony. Purpose: The goal is to create a family café, with an open layout that transforms the home into a space for enjoying both beautiful views and afternoon tea. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This design creates a spacious, private living environment by blending natural light with a smart layout. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows seamlessly integrate river views and sunlight. The open-plan dining and kitchen encourage family interaction, while private bedrooms offer tranquility. Local Wenzhou culture is woven into the design, fostering a strong cultural connection alongside modern comfort. This space meets daily needs while deepening connections with nature, family, and culture. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2023 in Wenzhou and finished in January 2024 in Wenzhou |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This project combines LAMINAM ceramic slabs and Mia Mia yellow marble for exceptional durability and refined textures, creating an elegant atmosphere. Shadow wood adds warmth and depth, while leather elements offer a soft, tactile quality that complements the space's sophisticated yet inviting feel. The thoughtful integration of these high-quality materials ensures both lasting appeal and a luxurious, comfortable living experience. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: To fully embrace the Ou River's natural landscape, the design features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, seamlessly connecting interior spaces with exterior views. A sightline-guided layout ensures the river view is visible from all areas. The project includes a smart home system for easy control of lighting, climate, and security, enhancing comfort. Ample natural light reduces reliance on artificial lighting, while low-emission glass and energy-efficient materials ensure sustainability.
