| DESIGN NAME: Rotunda PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sale Center INSPIRATION: Concept:Rotunda Inspired by the concept of "Rotunda," this space is centered around a circular design that seamlessly integrates unique aesthetics with social interaction functions. Through a deep consideration of fluid spatial layout, it breaks the boundaries of traditional clubhouse design. The circular hall naturally connects the functional areas, fostering communication and interaction. It serves not only as a visual focal point but also symbolizes harmony and completeness. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Purpose: The project seeks to create a flexible, interactive clubhouse space that combines art exhibition functions with an open layout, offering a vibrant, comfortable environment enriched with a high-quality artistic atmosphere. Function: The central circular hall serves as the space's core, facilitating open exhibitions and social interactions. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design centers around a circular hall, seamlessly connecting the space and creating an artistic, dynamic environment. The hall draws attention and directs people to key areas like meeting rooms, lounges, and offices. Thoughtfully designed lighting, ceilings, and décor add vitality and spaciousness. The layout encourages interaction, blurs spatial boundaries, and enhances user experience, offering both comfort and practicality with a harmonious blend of art and functionality. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Hebei in August 2023 and will be completed in Hebei in May 2024 FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Spatial Focus: The circular atrium serves as the visual focal point, subtly guiding sightlines and circulation, naturally drawing attention to the central area. The artful waterfall-inspired lighting illuminates the space, adding a unique artistic ambiance to the environment. Material Aesthetics: High-quality materials such as iridescent glass curtain walls and mirrored ceilings are chosen to fulfill both aesthetic and functional needs, enhancing the space’s artistic appeal while ensuring practicality. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Glass Selection: In key areas such as the exhibition zone and lounge, vibrant glass panels (1400mm x 10mm x 3000mm) were chosen for their benefits: Unique Visual Effects: Specially treated to display rich color variations under different lighting, enhancing the space's artistic and dynamic atmosphere. Eco-Friendly: Manufactured with recyclable materials and low production waste, meeting green building standards. Recyclability: The vibrant glass is fully recyclable at the end of its lifecycle, supporting sustainability. TAGS: sale Center,Art ,Socialize, Show RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Commercial Impact: The unique, art-filled design offers a high-end exhibition platform, enhancing the brand image. Elements like vibrant glass and the circular hall serve as visual expressions of the brand, leaving a lasting impression on clients and boosting market competitiveness. Design Effect: The project blends art and functionality, fostering social interaction while creating an artistic ambiance. Eco-friendly materials, such as recyclable vibrant glass, highlight the balance between aesthetics and sustainability in modern architecture. CHALLENGE: Challenge: Large-scale production and installation of iridescent glass in the circular hall. The glass dimensions are up to 1400mm x 10mm x 3000mm and need to be bent into a perfect arc for the circular area. To address this challenge, the design team collaborated with glass manufacturers and utilized advanced bending technology to ensure each piece of glass fit the curved structure perfectly without damage. Through multiple sample tests, the team successfully achieved precise installation, meeting aesthetic requirements while ensuring the flawless presentation of the structure.
