DESIGN NAME: Daity
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Fruity Ice Lolly
INSPIRATION: The designer of this packaging drew inspiration from the pop art style, modern art, and posters of the 60s and 70s to evoke a sense of fun, freshness, and enjoyment. The designer aimed to establish a direct connection to the summer season by using the primary colors of fruits, bringing the design closer to the product's core essence. This approach not only generates energy, vitality, and confidence in the product's quality but also conveys the design's inspirations drawn from nature.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This colorful, purposeful packaging targets young people, kids, and families. Blueberry evokes freshness, blackberry luxury, orange energy, and mixed fruits variety. Its clear text and colors offer a summery, enjoyable vibe, building trust. Blending pop art and modern design, it features bright colors, playful fonts, and fruity images for a cheerful, youth-friendly look. Simple yet striking, it balances appeal and info, standing out on shelves to draw in buyers with fun, freshness, and quality.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This packaging engages its audience on multiple levels: visually, with striking colors and imagery; emotionally, by sparking joy and freshness; practically, by standing out among competitors; and cognitively, by tying flavors to the design. Its goal is to grab attention fast, create a positive vibe, and drive purchases, especially among youth, kids, and families. The smart design showcases the designer's keen insight into consumer needs and behaviors.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2024 and finished in February 2025 in Shiraz, Iran.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In this packaging, the designer has created a playful, large, and energetic font with a glossy or metallic finish, fostering a fun interaction, especially for children and teenagers. The design leverages the primary colors of fruits to align with the product's main objective, while the influence of pop art and modern graphic design is clearly evident and well-executed in this creation.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Extensive research on the market, psychological, behavioral, cultural, flavor-visual, branding, and retail underpins this packaging design. Combining quantitative data (sales, surveys) and qualitative insights (focus groups, observations), the designer crafted an appealing, audience-aligned product. The emphasis on colors, imagery, and psychology reflects deep precision. The result: effective, engaging packaging that strengthens brand identity.
CHALLENGE: Diverse tastes across different markets, simultaneously appealing to children, teenagers, and parents, intense competition in the ice pop market, predicting consumer reactions, and capturing attention in a crowded environment these challenges have not only contributed to improving the product but have also resulted in a packaging design that is both aesthetically pleasing and purposeful. This has led to a balance between creativity and functionality.
