DESIGN NAME: Eclipse
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Interior
INSPIRATION: Inspired by deep familial bonds and the gentle interplay of light, this project harnesses the symbolism of a rising moon and steadfast sun. It fuses tender emotion with resilient strength, using natural light, soft curves, and refined textures to evoke warmth and balance. Every element is chosen to express personal sentiment and technical innovation, creating an environment that resonates with modern elegance and heartfelt inspiration. Additionally, precise detailing reflects sustainability.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This design centers on the “Sun & Moon” concept, integrating soft warm lighting and flowing curves to subtly minimize the visual impact of structural columns, resulting in a layered and modern residential space. Employing a refined mix of wood, stone, and metal finishes with hidden doors and precise linear detailing the design balances diverse functional areas, meeting family needs while showcasing innovative craftsmanship and technical expertise.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design creates a natural, intuitive flow throughout the home. Hidden doors and open pathways guide residents smoothly between communal spaces and private areas. Key moments, like transitioning from the living room to a secluded retreat, are highlighted by soft lighting and unobstructed views. This thoughtful layout encourages casual interaction and a sense of continuity, making everyday living more comfortable and engaging.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project commenced in November 2022 in Taoyuan City, Taiwan and was completed in March 2023, spanning a four‐month period. Executed at a private urban residence, this design reflects a collaborative effort that seamlessly integrates technical innovation with aesthetic refinement, capturing the essence of contemporary residential living.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Our design was realized through precise integration of structural elements, where techniques like repositioning the daughter's room door minimized column intrusion and maintained uninterrupted sight lines. Advanced production methods were employed using engineered wood veneer, faux stone panels, mineral-based coatings, and custom metal finishes. Meticulous craftsmanship and innovative material junctions ensured both aesthetic refinement and sustainability.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This residential design covers approx 115 sqm, featuring distinct public and private zones optimized for flow. Precise technical drawings defined custom modular components including engineered wood veneer, faux stone panels, and metal accents fabricated to tight tolerances. Integrated concealed lighting and structural modifications were executed with exacting measurements, ensuring seamless installation and balanced spatial proportions.
