| DESIGN NAME: Dawn PRIMARY FUNCTION: Series Furniture INSPIRATION: The inspiration for the shape and color of the furniture comes from the tranquility and beauty of the morning light, capturing the soft and delicate colors of the morning light. The shape of the chair is derived from the Chinese round chair, with solid wood as the support, which contrasts with the soft plastic body, and the overall shape is simple and smooth. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This piece symbolizes a new beginning and the soft light of the morning, conveying a poetic and tranquil image. It is a simple new Chinese design that combines the clean and smooth lines of the traditional round chair with lively color matching. The set includes a table and a chair, both of which are 3D printed with a light blue body and matched with wooden legs, creating a warm and modern aesthetic. Combining traditional seats with modern new materials allows Chinese furniture to be inherited and innovated. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It is suitable for leisure and entertainment. Whether it is reading, drinking tea, or resting and playing, this design brings a sense of safety and comfort to the user. The product materials are mainly solid wood and 3D printed plastic. The colors are fresh and vibrant, and the soft colors can be used as interior decoration. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design had started in Shenyang in January 2024, completed in Shenyang in June 2024, and displayed in the museum of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang in June in 2024. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The product support structure is made of original color solid wood, using modern CNC technology, and is formed through machine cutting and manual polishing. The main part adopts 3D printing technology and plug-in assembly structure. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 690mm x 540mm x 820mm, 1430mm x 750mm x 750mm, the supporting structure solid wood is machine cut and hand polished, the main part adopts 3D printing technology and plug-in assembly structure, which is assembled and formed, easy to transport and has a high degree of freedom in shaping. TAGS: Simple Design, New Chinese Style, Color, Modern, Leisure RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This design is guided by Chinese furniture and inspired by the light and colors of the early morning. The overall design elements use the traditional Chinese round chair form, and are matched with solid wood and 3D printed plastic as the main materials, adding a simple and agile modern feel to the simple and dignified Chinese semantics. CHALLENGE: Combining the ancient Chinese semantics with the modern 3D printed plastic material to make history and modernity collide requires ensuring the comfort and functionality of the product on the basis of structural innovation.
