INSPIRATION: We aim to break away from traditional packaging methods by combining creativity and functionality to create packaging that is both eco-friendly and interactive. Reduce material waste through reusable design, and make the packaging not just a container for the product, but a medium for fun and interaction. This design offers consumers an enjoyable, eco-conscious experience while helping the brand stand out in a crowded market and contributing to a sustainable future.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a creative, eco-friendly packaging solution for a large-scale energy storage product. It ensures safe transportation while being reusable. Users can easily transform the packaging into a DIY hollow playhouse with furniture, achieving a perfect balance of sustainability and functionality, providing a sustainable, interactive experience. The four-sided foldable box design reduces handling height, improves production efficiency, and enhances the user experience.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: 1.The outer box can be easily transformed into a hollow playhouse.The inner tray can be disassembled and DIY assembled into toy furniture.
2.Multiple packages can be combined to create a DIY castle or playground.
3.The outer box features a four-sided unfolding design for easier handling and unboxing. It effortlessly takes shape, opening like blooming petals for a unique unboxing experience.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Starting in June 2024 in Shenzhen, expected to be completed in Shenzhen by July 2025, and launched in the market in October 2025.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: 1.Made from fully biodegradable corrugated and honeycomb cardboard offering excellent load bearing and cushioning performance.
2.The outer box and inner tray feature easy-tear perforations, allowing users to follow guidelines to create hollow spaces and extract paper blocks for creative assembly.
3.The outer box is integrally formed, with tongue-and-slot connections replacing traditional glue and plastic for a more sustainable structure.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The packaging measures 800 millimeters wide 500 millimeters deep and 1200 millimeters high providing enough space to be transformed into a toy playhouse. This size is sufficient to accommodate children or pets creating an interactive play space.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This research aims to design an innovative, safe, and eco-friendly reusable packaging solution. Through design thinking, system design methods, user feedback, and prototype development, the study explored how to enhance the reusability of packaging and raise environmental awareness. The results show that the packaging improved handling efficiency, increased user engagement, raised environmental awareness, and contributed to the development of commercial, social, and design fields.
