RESEARCH ABSTRACT: -
CHALLENGE: Introducing a Persian Saffron Gin to Western markets like Canada presents several challenges, despite the growing interest in premium and exotic spirits. One major obstacle is consumer awareness and perception. While gin has a strong presence in Canada, traditional botanical profiles, such as juniper, citrus, and floral notes, are more familiar to consumers. Saffron, a prized but niche ingredient, may not immediately resonate with the mainstream audience, potentially requiring extensive marketing and education about its unique flavor and cultural significance. To overcome this, Noosh Gin embraces the power of storytelling, drawing inspiration from Persian poetry and the timeless works of Khayyam, Hafez, and One Thousand and One Nights.
Noosh’s design evokes joyous gatherings, where drinking symbolizes a celebration of life, much like in Persian tradition. By incorporating Eastern architectural elements, arches and domes, into its visual identity, it creates dreamlike spaces reminiscent of majestic palaces. Each beverage flavor is woven with a unique narrative, transforming drinking into a meaningful cultural experience that bridges Eastern and Western traditions. This approach not only differentiates Noosh Gin in a competitive market but also offers consumers an immersive journey into Persian heritage. Rather than merely introducing a luxury product, Noosh presents an artistic expression of Persian culture and botanical history, making saffron-infused gin not just an exotic ingredient but a symbol of connection, tradition, and celebration.
