| DESIGN NAME: Fila Kids Amore PRIMARY FUNCTION: Kid Shoes INSPIRATION: Inspired by the concept of "A Loving Embrace," the design reflects the care and affection parents provide for their children. The heart-shaped straps symbolize warmth and connection, while the playful yet iconic FILA color scheme enhances the emotional and visual appeal. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The FILA Kids Amore shoe prioritizes comfort and functionality with its dual-layer sole structure. A soft TPU midsole contours to the arch for a barefoot-like feel, while the ultra-thin rubber outsole provides stability and natural walking support. The innovative TEMPUR material enhances pressure absorption, fit, and shock resistance, ensuring a comfortable, adaptive experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The FILA KIDS AMORE shoes are designed to offer children a seamless and comfortable wearing experience, ensuring effortless interaction with every step. The wide collar opening allows kids to easily slip their feet in, even for those with chubbier feet. The broad Velcro straps can be adjusted for a secure and customized fit, helping children fasten their shoes independently. The soft, breathable materials keep their feet dry and comfortable throughout the day, while the flexible sole grooves support natural walking movements. The wrap-around fastener ensures a snug fit that won’t slip off, giving parents peace of mind. Additionally, the easy-to-clean upper allows parents to maintain the shoes effortlessly, keeping them fresh even after active play. Whether walking, running, or exploring, the shoes provide stable support and protection, allowing children to move freely and comfortably. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2024 in China and finished in January 2025 in China. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Utilizes high-performance biodegradable fibers, low-elasticity eco-friendly Lycra, and antibacterial inner linings for a breathable, moisture-wicking experience. The outer rubber outsole enhances durability, while TEMPUR material ensures optimal foot support. Thoughtful design elements such as flexible grooves, toe protection, and adjustable Velcro straps enhance usability, while eco-friendly materials promote sustainability. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Main material: mesh/rubber/TPU TAGS: Children’s shoes, ergonomic design, sustainable materials, foot development, comfort, support, eco-friendly RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design integrates ergonomic principles to support children's natural walking development. The sole structure follows the foot’s natural movement, while stable support elements enhance durability and safety. Certified materials ensure high performance, breathability, and antibacterial properties, providing both parents and children with a secure and comfortable wearing experience. CHALLENGE: The challenge was to balance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability while ensuring optimal foot support. The use of TEMPUR material in children’s footwear required careful adaptation to maintain flexibility and breathability. Additionally, integrating eco-friendly components while maintaining durability and ease of maintenance was a key focus in the design process.
