RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As Made Home bridges e-commerce with community-driven branding, our research focused on understanding the needs of local food artisans and their customers. We analyzed successful marketplace models, conducted user interviews, and explored behavioral trends in online food shopping. Insights from this research shaped our approach, leading to a design that balances functionality with storytelling. We refined the interface through iterative prototyping, ensuring a seamless and visually engaging user experience.
CHALLENGE: One of the biggest challenges of Made Home was creating a seamless balance between e-commerce functionality and brand storytelling. Unlike traditional online marketplaces, this project needed to highlight both the products and the artisans behind them, ensuring an engaging and emotional connection with users.
