| DESIGN NAME: Flowray PRIMARY FUNCTION: Photorejuvenation Beauty Device INSPIRATION: Designed in a modern minimalist style, the product features simple, flowing lines, avoiding sharp edges and ensuring comfortable grip and portability with its lightweight design. Predominantly white with tasteful metallic accents, it exudes a refined and technologically advanced appearance. The aesthetic appeal and functionality are harmoniously unified, with meticulously optimized layouts for each component enhancing visual aesthetics and user experience. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This product seamlessly integrates clinical medicine with the daily skincare needs of users, and it is committed to empowering beauty through technology. It provides an efficient, safe, and convenient home skincare experience. Utilizing non invasive ipl intense pulsed light technology combined with red, blue, and purple led light modes, it targets skin care needs such as brightening complexion, reducing redness, and fading spots through deep photon care. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Combining broad-spectrum IPL with targeted LED technologies, the device offers high energy output up to 7J and rapid pulse rates up to 0.2s, addressing skin concerns from the epidermis to subcutaneous layers. Adjusting pulse intensity and duration ensures gentle, low-irritation phototherapy suitable for sensitive skin or first-time users. The drop-shaped light outlet allows precise targeting of areas like the nose sides and mouth corners. A 10.5 cm2 light outlet enhances treatment efficiency. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Development began in 2024, with market release scheduled for April 2025. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main body is made from wear resistant and impact resistant engineering plastic, while key areas like the light outlet use sapphire material for effective cooling, ensuring both efficacy and safety during phototherapy. Surface treatments include spray plating and fine sandblasting to create a matte metal effect, adding a premium feel and comfortable grip. The plastic casing is manufactured through injection moulding, guaranteeing production efficiency and consistent quality. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 45*66*211mm TAGS: Deep Phototherapy, Multiple LED Light Modes, IPL Intense Pulsed Light Technology, Sapphire Cooling, Soft Pulse RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Addressing common issues with home beauty devices such as single wavelength and unstable energy output that may cause skin burns, the design team developed more human body compatible photon bands. By modulating pulse strength and duration, the device promotes skin metabolism and self healing, aiding new or sensitive users in adapting to phototherapy treatments gently and safely. CHALLENGE: Design challenges focused on enhancing functional performance and skincare effectiveness to improve user experience. Using specific wavelengths of intense pulsed light improves skin smoothness and colour uniformity. Three innovative phototherapy modes are offered: 620nm red light to promote blood circulation, 490nm blue light for anti inflammatory and antibacterial effects, and violet light to brighten dull skin. Users can adjust different modes based on their skin needs for optimal results.
