RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research phase is focused on creating a space that balances luxury and functionality in an industrial environment. The study included the analysis of yacht showroom designs, customer expectations, and spatial ergonomics. The data was collected through market research, case studies, and interviews with industry professionals. The results highlighted the need for a visually striking and highly functional environment, leading to the integration of nautical-inspired aesthetic and digital enhancements.
CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge was to redesign an industrial facility while maintaining a sense of exclusivity and luxury. Achieving an inviting atmosphere in a previously cold and impersonal space required innovative spatial planning, customized lighting solutions and high-end materials. Inspired by yacht forms, the reception desk had to be precisely sculpted and the lighting balance fine-tuned to accentuate architectural features without overpowering the ambiance.
