PRIMARY FUNCTION: Social Design
INSPIRATION: Safetravy is inspired by the vision of creating a globally connected, socially aware community. It tackles the dynamic social challenges encountered by travelers, empowering them with crucial situational awareness and a robust support network.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Safetravy features an interactive, color-coded world map that provides insights into social issues, medical statuses, and travel requirements. Equipped with conflict reporting, social updates, and personalized entry requirements, the platform equips travelers comprehensively, making it an indispensable travel companion.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design promotes a socially interactive experience, where users access real-time alerts and customized insights via an intuitive map interface. This encourages active community participation and raises awareness, enriching the collective travel safety culture.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Safetravy was developed over three months, with the project executed for a client in the Netherlands.
