| DESIGN NAME: A80 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Keyboard INSPIRATION: Featuring robust lines and a CNC machined metal case, the A80 keyboard echoes the dynamism and power of sports cars. The keyboard includes a sports car style LED belt that supports customizable lighting effects, changing dynamically like car taillights. This not only fosters a unique gaming atmosphere, elevating emotional value and enhancing the gaming experience, but also endows the keyboard with more masculine and mechanical characteristics, catering to the aesthetic needs of gamers. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The A80 keyboard is designed for high end gamers and tech enthusiasts, integrating sports car inspiration with gaming performance to create a peripheral that combines visual appeal and functionality, meeting the user pursuits of mechanical and technological characteristics and personalization. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The optimized tilt angle of the integrated palm rest naturally supports the hand and forearm, effectively reducing wrist pressure and fatigue during prolonged use. Fitted with a dual angle support system, users can select the most comfortable angle according to their needs. A lower angle for longterm typing, minimizing wrist fatigue, and a higher angle for gamers, offering better key response and operational ease. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project was designed and developed in Dongguan, Guangdong, in May 2024 and launched in China in April 2025. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The surface of forged carbon is highly resistant to stains, sweat, and grease. It is less affected by temperature changes and less prone to becoming sticky after extended use, ensuring a comfortable use. The carbon fibre texture conveys a sense of technology, complementing the high end style. The A80 keyboard has a Gasket structure that absorbs vibrations during key presses, reducing operational noise. It also softens the tactile feedback, making keystrokes feel smoother and more comfortable. The design of A80 keyboard stems from a deep understanding of high end e sports culture and future tech trends, aiming to seamlessly integrate dynamic sports car aesthetics with gaming performance, offering a peripheral that delivers both striking visual appeal and superior functionality. CHALLENGE: The challenge lies in maintaining the premium, dynamic appearance while ensuring exceptional gaming performance. The A80 cleverly integrates sports car inspiration with gaming performance, bringing dynamism and power along with a polling rate of up to 8000Hz, ensuring ultra low 0.125ms transmission latency. Combined with precise key detection and high speed communication capabilities, it enhances operational accuracy, allowing users to enjoy instant operation feedback in intense gaming.
