| DESIGN NAME: Corner PRIMARY FUNCTION: Chair INSPIRATION: The leisure sofa chair, inspired by modern styles, takes minimalism, scientifically reasonable construction, and a deep understanding of material properties as the core. By skillfully combining a structured solid wood frame with soft upholstery, the design team has created a comfortable sofa chair that not only fully embodies rational aesthetics but also boasts remarkable recognizability. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This sofa chair subtly integrates art, comfort, and practicality. Its hard triangular armrests, and soft upholstery with rounded contours, create a striking contrast, unique, modern and recognizable. Following ergonomic principles, the product perfectly fits the human body to alleviate fatigue from prolonged sitting. It well meets the demands of modern homes and public spaces for aesthetic appeal and comfort. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To enhance the user experience, the design team has utilized the padding with excellent resilience and support, while also innovating curved surfaces based on ergonomics. Besides, the lowered seat and armrests, as well as the backrest with an optimal tilt angle, ensure the chair can well fit the human body to avoid physical fatigue from prolonged sitting, offering users a comfortable space to relax. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: - The frame made of premium ash wood adopts traditional mortise and tenon joints to ensure stability, with drying, polishing, and painting processes used to enhance durability and aesthetic appeal. - The upholstery consisting of the padding and covering, combined with the wooden frame, creates a stylish chair that is both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 630mm*700mm*840mm TAGS: indoor sofa chair, ergonomics, aesthetic balance, rational aesthetics, wooden structure RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Based on the research into the needs of multifunctional public spaces and a deep understanding of modern design, the design team is committed to creating an artistic, comfortable, and practical sofa chair to satisfy the demands of various scenarios and provide users with an ideal solution for leisure and relaxation. CHALLENGE: The challenge was how to achieve a harmonious unity of practicality, comfort, and art. To address that, the sofa chair marries simple, clear lines with soft curved surfaces, giving a unique visual aesthetic and improving comfort of use. Moreover, the design team, following ergonomic principles, has optimized the curvature of the seat, the tilt angle of the backrest, and the height of the armrests to ensure optimal support and an ultimate experience for users.
