DESIGN NAME: Taravat Villa
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential
INSPIRATION: This project draws inspiration from the enduring beauty of Persian architecture, seamlessly integrating traditional elements with sustainable design principles. The design process was guided by the desire to create a home that respects cultural heritage while embracing modern ecological practices. Incorporating green spaces within the urban environment reflects a commitment to blending contemporary living with environmental responsibility. The project combines traditional Persian aesthetics with cutting-edge technology, utilizing AI-assisted design tools to refine the architectural form and spatial dynamics.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The villa design represents a fusion of traditional Persian architectural features with modern sustainability practices. Its façade, featuring intricate tilework and arched openings, honors Persian craftsmanship, while the integration of green spaces and natural ventilation enhances its environmental performance. The building optimizes natural light and airflow, promoting a comfortable and energy-efficient living environment. AI design tools were employed to visualize and refine the project, ensuring a seamless integration of heritage and innovation.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The layout is designed to encourage a smooth flow between indoor and outdoor spaces through courtyards, terraces, and arched openings. A central courtyard acts as the heart of the villa, offering shade and comfort in the hot climate. Large windows and double-height spaces maximize natural light and ventilation, minimizing the need for mechanical cooling. The villa design also incorporates passive cooling techniques, ensuring that the building performs optimally in the region's climate
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project design in June 2024 for southern Iran. The villa is designed specifically for the hot climate of southern Iran, integrating sustainable features to ensure comfort and energy efficiency.
