RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
This project, in collaboration with the Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum, explores how to revitalize traditional Chinese patterns through modern design. By studying motifs from traditional clothing and ceramics, the project aims to preserve cultural heritage while enhancing contemporary relevance. Through deconstruction and transformation, the designs integrate seamlessly into modern cultural products.

CHALLENGE:
The main challenge of this project was to maintain the authenticity of traditional patterns while ensuring they fit into modern design aesthetics. Balancing cultural preservation with contemporary relevance required extensive research into traditional motifs and materials.Another challenge was the technical adaptation of traditional designs to modern production processes. Ensuring color accuracy, material compatibility, and design scalability across different products demanded continuous experimentation and refinement.
