INSPIRATION: Drawing inspiration from the Pearl River and Huangpu's maritime legacy, the lighting concept reflects the imagery of rippling waters and stacked cargo boxes, evoking a sense of movement and connection. Warm gradients and dynamic light transitions bring the architectural layers to life, seamlessly blending cultural symbolism with contemporary aesthetics.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: By harmonizing light with architectural forms, Get Space fosters a welcoming environment that inspires interaction, creativity, and cultural appreciation. Advanced LED technology and dynamic controls deliver tailored illumination across functional areas, ensuring energy efficiency and adherence to environmental regulations. The design minimizes light pollution, protects nearby communities, and redefines how lighting enhances urban living and creates a sense of belonging.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The facade's minimalist design uses stacked box structures and terraced platforms, creating a rhythmic yet modern urban aesthetic. Advanced LED technology enhances the interplay of light and architecture, utilizing embedded spotlights, linear accents, and vertical lighting to highlight the building’s contours. The design carefully balances function and artistry with dynamic lighting tones, 4000K for building exteriors and 3000K for pedestrian spaces, ensuring a vibrant yet inviting atmosphere.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in October 2023 in Guangzhou and was put into operation in January 2024.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The lighting system combines advanced LED luminaires and narrow-beam spotlights with dynamic controls, allowing precise illumination tailored to each zone's function and atmosphere. The implementation of motion sensors and dimming controls reduces energy consumption by up to 30% during off-peak hours, aligning with sustainable practices. Additionally, the design adheres to stringent local environmental regulations, featuring anti-glare shields and targeted lighting angles to minimize light spills into adjacent residential areas, preserving the nighttime sky and improving the urban experience.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Get Space, the flagship youth-oriented commercial street project in Huangpu Science City, Guangzhou, China, seamlessly connects to the Metro Station. Spanning an impressive 154,800 square meters, the complex integrates Premium Retail, Smart Offices, Sky Pavilion Suites, and Multifunctional Spaces, setting a new benchmark for urban commercial development in East Guangzhou.
