Since 2010, our brand has pioneered innovative solutions in parasite control. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Tickless Mini represents the new generation of ultrasonic flea and tick protection. This tiny yet powerful device is rechargeable, offering extended protection for pets. It is the smallest ultrasonic repellent on the market, making it both a practical and stylish choice for all sizes of pets. The device attaches easily to the pet’s collar and can help repelling parasites without the need for chemicals or fragrances.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The Tickless Mini’s technology is based on ultrasonic waves. The device emits a series of ultrasonic pulses that disturb ticks and fleas; thus it can help keep them away.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The Tickless Mini project commenced in June 2024 in Budapest and concluded in November 2024. The initial prototype was completed in November 2024. This project focused on redesigning the original Tickless Mini to enhance its customer-friendliness and durability. The latest design combines high quality with a more user-friendly approach, making it suitable not only for small and medium-sized dogs but for all sizes.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The design of the Tickless Mini originated from the concept of developing a rechargeable ultrasonic tick repellent for pets, addressing the limitations of the initial version, which relied on disposable batteries. The current form was shaped by the Lithium-ion cell battery, which defined the product’s foundation. The attachment method further refined its innovative design and dimensions by utilizing side tabs.

The dimensions of the product are the following: width: 2.35cm height: 4.35cm depth: 1.75cm

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
During the development of the first Tickless Mini, comprehensive market research was conducted, including secondary research and customer surveys, to evaluate demand for the product. Over time, customer feedback emphasized the necessity for a rechargeable solution suitable for larger dogs and a more robust design. These findings informed the creation of the new Tickless Mini, which addresses these needs while upholding its eco-friendly and chemical-free principles.
CHALLENGE:
The hardest part in creating the design was to fit all the components into the shell and remain tiny-sized. Its shape was determined by the rechargeable battery and its height by the other parts as transducer, microchip, led light, USB C connector, PCB (Printed Circuit Board), and button. The design of the cover was determined by the transducer, the led light, and the button. We aimed to create a small product that is super light, easy to attach, and stays fixed on pets’ collars and harnesses.
