RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research objective was to redefine the app experience by balancing security and convenience to reduce card fraud risks.
Surveys, interviews, and usability testing revealed users' desire to view security status within the app. This led to the implementation of new security screens, achieving integrated value delivery through both card and application security features.
Security visualization provides user confidence and leads to increased usage, as demonstrated by an App Store rating of 4.6.
CHALLENGE: The application renewal process required a significant investment of time to determine appropriate UI and service implementations that would address users' concerns regarding fraud and overspending.
Through repeated user interviews and leveraging business expertise, it was determined that visualizing security status would be key to solving these challenges.
The solution includes features such as a "Security Setting Status" that displays security levels through color indicators.
